Brunei: The Brunei Muara District Office, in collaboration with the Mukim Kota Batu Consultative Council, organized an Integrated Cleaning Campaign at the Car Park Area and Under the Jetty Bridge of Kampung Sungai Bunga, Jalan Kota Batu, on the morning of November 15th. Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaaraq bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the Acting Brunei Muara District Officer, joined the campaign alongside local villagers and volunteers from ‘Green Brunei’.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and environmental beautification. It also sought to enhance cooperation among stakeholders, villagers, and mukim residents. The event saw participation from Members of the Legislative Council, Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat and Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, who contributed to the collaborative effort in the community.
