Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei, addressed the nation with a titah, emphasizing the country's safety and divine protection in conjunction with the 1448 Hijrah New Year. According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty's message was broadcasted nationwide, urging the Muslim ummah to express gratitude with pure intentions solely for Allah. He highlighted the importance of being thankful for the opportunity to live long enough to welcome and celebrate the Hijrah New Year once again.
