This marathon marks the beginning of the 9th Brunei December Festival, aiming to solidify Brunei’s status as a premier tourist destination.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin emphasized the role of such events in drawing international visitors. The Brunei Half Marathon 2025, organized by Arrowtech Sports Event Management and Royal Brunei Airlines, aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and position Brunei as a regional sports hub.
The launch event was held at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas, setting the stage for Brunei’s continued focus on sports and tourism development.
