All Bruneian citizens are confirmed safe in the United Kingdom following blast incidents in London today. This was explained by His Excellency Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom, when contacted by RTB's News Centre.
Based on information and observation from the High Commission and the Students Unit, all Bruneian students, officials and their family members are safe and not involved in the incidents. In regard to the matter, the safety and whereabouts of the Bruneian students and citizens in the United Kingdom will continue to be monitored. The Brunei High Commission also advised Brunei Darussalam citizens who are in the United Kingdom to remain vigilant and cautious and avoid from visiting the affected areas especially the areas of London Bridge.
