Brunei Shell Marketing Sendirian Berhad, BSM revised the operating hours for all petrol stations in the country to support the government in Operasi Pulih. The public is reminded to buy fuel earlier to assist in reducing movement as well as the risk of COVID-19 infection. In a Zoom interview, Dayang Siti Fairuzhaironie binti Dato Paduka Haji Wahabi, Retail Executive of BSM said BSM has instructed all petrol stations to revise their operating hours based on the Operasi Pulih’s directive.
According to Dayang Siti Fairuzhaironie, the revised hours must include ample time for balancing the register after closing hours and the staff can reach home before 8 in the evening.
The public is also reminded to adhere to the Ministry of Health’s Standard Operating Procedure while at the petrol station in together play a role to break the COVID-19 infection chain.
