As part of the preparation for the coming Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, the Belait District Pertiwi Association is organising the annual Charity Sales. Held at the Hall of Seria District Office, the charity sales is opened until end of Ramadhan.
It was officiated by Mohamad Yassin Bin Haji Ahmed, Acting Belait District Officer. 20 single mothers and pertiwi members are taking part in this year’s charity sales. 10 per cent of the sale’s proceeds will donated to the Belait District Orphans Fund and Welfare Fund. It is opened from 10 in the morning to 10 at night. Also present was Member of the Legislative Council.
