Berakas: The 32nd Civil Service Day Celebration will commence on the 29th of September at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre, Berakas. In conjunction with the celebration, the Prime Minister’s Office organized a Mass Fardhu Asar Prayer, the reading of Surah Yaasin, and a Special Doa at the main mosques nationwide. In Brunei Muara District, the event was centered at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong, on the afternoon of the 27th of September.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, and Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs.
