The Minister of Health also shared a clearer picture of the location of the positive cases detected in the county.
Yang Berhormat said, between 30 January 2022 until 5 February 2022, there were 5 mukim that had more than 80 cases. These mukim were Mukim Serasa, Mukim Berakas ‘B’, Mukim Gadong ‘B’, Mukim Gadong ‘A’ and Mukim Sengkurong. Whereas 4 mukim had more than 40 positive cases which were Mukim Mentiri, Mukim Pengkalan Batu, Mukim Kilanas and Mukim Berakas ‘A’.
Meanwhile, between 31 January 2022 until 7 February 2022, a total of 200 students have been detected positive with PCR COVID-19 that involved a total of 116 schools and higher education institutions. All of the cases involving the students were related to clusters at home and so far, no school clusters have been detected.
