His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah urges youths and all parties to collaborate efforts to further develop themselves to become truly responsible, progressive and empowered citizens. As future inheritors, youths, His Majesty stresses, need to show evidence of pure characteristics, visionary and knowledgeable as well as creative, not weaknesses due to non-meaningful enjoyments. His Majesty emphasises this at the Hari Raya ‘Idil Fitri celebration organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah which took place at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, yesterday morning.
In the titah, the Monarch is grateful to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala for enabling Brunei Darussalam to celebrate ‘Idil Fitri once again although still facing the coronavirus pandemic. His Majesty adds that conditions have allowed the country to be able to reduce part of the restrictions in the new normal. However, in this regard, the Monarch reminds that precautions are still needed by adhering to health protocols and Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs to protect mutual well-being.
