The Book Planning Division, Language and Literature Bureau is holding a 3-day Comic Writing and Drawing Workshop. Aimed at developing skills through learning to write and draw comics in a more directed manner, the workshop was held at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas.
The workshop was attended by 25 participants, comprising local youths and cartoonists aged 18 and above. The participants were guided by Awang Rahim bin Haji Jahit or better known as ‘Cuboi’. During the workshop, participants were guided theoretically and practically, particularly in the production of interesting comics with more accurate storytelling. Meanwhile, the suitable participants’ work will be made public either through comic publications or posted on the Language and Literature Bureau’s official social media.
