Community for Ramadhan Still Opens To Those Who Wish To Do Online Business

More than 100 Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs, MSME participate in the Community for Ramadhan organised by the Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD since it was launched on the 1st of Ramadhan. The virtual platform gathers all entrepreneurs to do business during the month of Ramadhan specifically the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.


According to Dayang Hajah Nurul Akmar binti Haji Mohd Jaafar, Head Marketing Officer of BIBD said the application to participate the Community for Ramadhan is still open to MSME who wish to do online business.


The MSME received positive response from the public, after joining the platform. BIBD also provides support and requirements to do businesses such as the eco-friendly paper bags to the entrepreneurs.


Aside from an easy access to the platform, the public also can make digital payments by using debit card or credit card. The initiatives and assistance provided by the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is highly appreciated by the entrepreneurs through the platform.


The platform provided by the Ministry of Finance and Economy through BIBD is hoped for the entrepreneurs to continue operate to together enhance the country’s economy.
