Carrying out community work is a culture that needs to be preserved and maintained so that it will not disappear with changes in time and challenges of modern living. Towards achieving this, village consultative members and residents of Batang Tuau in the Temburong district, with the cooperation of youths from the Mohammad Salleh Main Mosque in Bangar Town yesterday morning held such an activity to demolish an old Surau in Kampung Batang Tuau. The Surau, built in the 80's, was no longer deemed safe for use.
Community work such as this is hoped to educate and instil a sense of working together, especially among youths, aside from fostering closer ties among residents in the area.
