Tutong: Two companies in the Tutong District Office have been penalized with compound fines for contravening the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021. DA Team Store and Axsel Jaya Insurance Agency, both situated in Tutong Town, were each fined BND500 for improperly discarding and setting up used banners in public places.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Enforcement Unit of the Tutong District Office has issued a reminder to the public, companies, and business owners about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness. The unit emphasized the need to avoid throwing, piling, or leaving rubbish in public areas and around business premises to uphold the community's environmental standards.
