A total of 312 bottles, 840 cans of alcoholic drinks of various brands, 20 kilograms of raw chicken wings and chicken tails were found inside a vehicle with a driver at a business premises area in Kampung Puni, Temburong District, early yesterday morning.
Detective personnel and patrol of Bangar Police Station, the Royal Brunei Police Force R-B-P-F found a total of 32 black plastic packages believed to be contrabands in the vehicle. The vehicle and driver were taken to the Bangar Police Station for preliminary investigation. The suspect, a local man together with the contrabands were handed over to the Temburong District Religious Enforcement Division for further investigation and action. The suspect also faced an offense under the Road Traffic Act.
