COVID-19 Donation Presentation

The Ministry of Health received contributions from donors in curbing the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The donation acts as the donor’s corporate social responsibility in helping the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam specifically the Ministry of Health to together tackling and curbing the COVID-19 infection in the country. The presentation ceremony took place at the Ministry of Health, yesterday morning.


The Prime Minister’s Office donated a cheque amounting to 11 Thousand 5 Hundred and 15 dollars which was handed over to Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The contribution was presented by Pengiran Hajah Siti Nirmala binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office.


Meanwhile, the Youth Development Centre, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Sparks Co Sendirian Berhad amd Aewon Garment and Embroidery Sendirian Berhad respectively donated ‘scrubs‘. The contribution which was received by the Minister of Health, was handed over by Dayang Fauziah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Assistant Director of Youth Development Centre, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil bin Pengiran Syed Haji Jaafari from Sparks Co Sdn Bhd and Mr Lau Chai Seng, Managing Director of Aewon Garment and Embroidery Sdn Bhd.


Riza Printing also donated a cheque worth 8 Thousand 3 Hundred and 72 dollars which was handed over by its manager, Kamal Flynn.


PTD Technology Sdn Bhd donated 70 cartons of mineral water presented by Md Haziq Rasiman, Director of the company.


Meanwhile, the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry, AITI donated soft drinks, snacks, paper towels and hand wash handed over by Dayang Hjh Hasnah binti Hj Azri, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of AITI.


Christian Fellowship Centre in Brunei, CFCB contributed 6 Thousand dollars presented by Mr Hoh Thian Chai.


Blue Castle Enterprise donated 40 bottles of hand sanitiser handed over by its Managing Director, Dayang Noor Azimah binti Haji Daud. All contributions were received by Awg Hj Abdul Khalid As’ari bin Hj Azahari, Chief Executive Officer Grade One as Acting Chief Executive Officer Special Grade at the Ministry of Health.
