COVID-19 Enforcement Operation Carried Out

To ensure all visitors to the Bandarku Ceria Programme follow the Transition Phase Guidelines for Fitness and Recreation Facilities and Activities set by the Government, the COVID-19 SOPs Enforcement Operation was carried out yesterday morning.

During the operation, personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force monitored the closed roads, and conducted daily crime prevention tasks. Throughout the Bandarku Ceria Programme, group leisure activities are for not more than 15 people. Wear a face mask at all times, except when doing exercise or physical activity, by ensuring physical distancing of 1 point 5 metres between individuals during exercise or sports.

Meanwhile, the Economic Division of Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department played a role in ensuring that no sales booth activities are carried out during the ‘Bandarku Ceria’ programme. The Bandarku Ceria programme is limited to leisure activities done individually or in a limited number of groups. No sales booth activities are carried out until a later date to be announced.
