The management of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme for Children Aged 5 to 11 Years nationwide is running smoothly and orderly. The vaccination programme is opened voluntarily at the request and consent of parents or guardians where parents or guardians are invited to bring their children to get the COVID-19 vaccine to the existing Vaccination Centres by walk-in or book a slot through the BruHealth application.
The administration of COVID-19 vaccine to Children Aged 5 to 11 years, is important to protect them from the adverse effects of COVID-19 infection. The Ministry of Health will continue to give priority to the prevention and protection of children from getting serious infections.
Vaccination under the programme is done voluntarily in an effort to build confidence among parents who are still concerned about the risk of side effects on their children.
