A 43-year-old local male suspect was arrested after he was found to be in possession of undeclared goods and a suspicious package. The arrest was made by personnel of the Bangar Police Station, Royal Brunei Police Force during a patrol in Bangar Town after identifying a suspicious looking vehicle.
During the inspection, 5 packets of raw meat believed to be undeclared goods and a black package containing equipment for drugs were found. The vehicle, suspect and contraband were brought to the Bangar Police Station for investigation and the case was taken over by the Royal Customs and Excise Department and the Narcotics Control Bureau for further action.
