Youths need to be guided and educated with programmes that can build up and strengthen their faith and not through deviant and sinful programmes that can bring about various problems of the soul. If this should happen, certainly the country will lose youths who can be depended on. The matter was among the contents of the Dawn Talk in the Masjidku Ma'mur, Negara Berkat programme at Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital early yesterday morning.
Among those present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar; Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
The talk entitled "Belia Negara, Harapan Bangsa" or Country's Youth, Nation's Hope was delivered by Awang Fariszal bin Ali, Assistant Prisons Counselor, Prisons Department, Ministry of Home Affairs who is also a Certified Dai'e of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council, MUIB. This week's programme was organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs supported by the Prime Minister's Office.
