As part of measures to fulfil the requests of the public who will perform the rites of sacrifice during Hari Raya Aidiladha, Mulaut Abattoir Sendirian Berhad has specially brought in over 400 cows and buffaloes from the Northern Territories, Australia. The animals arrived yesterday morning at Muara Port.
This year, the company is still providing services for the rites of sacrifice and aqiqah individually or one part for 350 dollars. The company will hold the slaughtering of the sacrificial animals for 4 days starting from the morning of Hari Raya Aidiladha until the third tasyrik day. Members of the public wishing to carry out the rites of sacrifice this year, can obtain the form at the Mulaut Meat Shop and also at the Mulaut Abattoir Sendirian Berhad sales office in Jalan Kilanas-Mulaut. All reservations and payments can be made at the office counter until the 19th of August from 7 in the morning until 4.30 in the afternoon. The price for cow meat is 5 dollars 90 cents per kilogramme and for buffalo meat is 5 dollars 70 cents per kilogramme.
