In efforts to provide students and trainees with knowledge and necessary skills, Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE and the Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre, PJSC, yesterday afternoon signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MOU, in areas such as training. Under the MoU, the two organisations intends to establish, promote and develop collaborations in the field of education and training programmes of mutual interest.
Earlier in his welcoming remarks, Dr. Haji Mazrul Adimin bin Haji Awang Besar, Executive Director of PJSC expressed hope that PJSC partnership with IBTE to potentially contribute to achieving one of the stated strategies of Wawasan Brunei 2035 which is to make country known throughout the world as a nation that has educated and highly skilled people.
The signing was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC. Signing on behalf of IBTE was Hajah Mariah binti Haji Abdul Manaf, Acting CEO of IBTE while PJSC was represented by Dr. Hajiazrul Adimin bin Haji Awang Besar, Executive Director of PJSC.
