109 photographs with different themes contributed by 19 diplomatic missions in the country are on display in the Belait District Museum starting yesterday. The launching ceremony of Diplomatic Corps: Brunei Darussalam from the Eyes of Foreign Diplomats and their Families Photography Exhibition was held yesterday morning. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD, the exhibition acts as appreciation towards the development of bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and foreign diplomats. It is also the foreign diplomats’ way of expressing gratitude to the country’s government and people. The exhibition also features photos of the beautiful scenery and sweet moments enjoyed by foreign diplomats while in the country.
The showcase was officiated by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The Diplomatic Corps Photography Exhibition highlights interesting expressions inspired by the way foreign diplomats and their family members view Brunei Darussalam. The exhibition is open to the public until 7th of January 2021. It will take place in the Temburong District on 9th January and 23rd January in the Tutong District.
