Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration, Ar-Rahman Mosque, in collaboration with the Kampung Tanjung Bunut Consultative Council, held the distribution of the Sacrificial Meat Ceremony. The ceremony took place at the mosque on the morning of May 31.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the sacrificial meat was distributed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Sixteen poor and destitute individuals from Kampung Tanjung Bunut received the sacrificial meat. The ceremony is part of the ongoing efforts by the mosque and the Village Consultative Council to promote the teachings of Islam, as well as to foster a spirit of concern, unity, and togetherness among the community.
