The latest police investigation at the scene found scattered sand marks along the road between the electric poles before reaching the roadside pavilion. 100 meters away was the pickup truck that was the scene of the incident, badly damaged, and pieces of an improvised explosive device were placed at the base of the electric pole on the side of the road. Initial investigations revealed that there were 6 police officers in the pickup truck, and at the tim e of the incident, they were traveling back to the police station, which was only 500 meters away from the bombing.
