Doa Kesyukuran ceremonies in conjunction with the 28th Teacher’s Day were held simultaneously yesterday for all schools under the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ceremonies were filled with the reading of Ratib Al-Attas, Surah Yasin and Tahlil. In Brunei Muara District, two schools became the focal points of the function.
Sengkurong Sixth Form Centre became the first focal point of the ceremony. The ceremony aimed to express gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wataala as well as to show appreciation towards teachers in the country.
A similar function took place at Bengkurong Primary School. It was part of religious activities conducted by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Religious Affairs in conjunction with the Teacher’s Day celebration. It also aimed to foster close relations between teachers and students.
