Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony to Mark the RBPF 98th Anniversary

Police Day is celebrated every 1st of January, and this year marks the 98th anniversary of the Police Force. In conjunction with the celebration, the Royal Brunei Police Force held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony simultaneously in the Brunei Muara and Belait Districts.

In Brunei Muara, the gathering was held at the Surau of the Police Force Headquarters in Gadong. It was attended by Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Muhd Shah Al-Islam, the Commissioner of Police. It began with the mass Hajat prayers, followed by the reading of Yassin Verse, Tahlil, prayer for Allah the Almighty to always protect the Monarch, and culminated with the Doa kesyukuran. A similar gathering was held at the Surau of the Panaga Police Station in Belait. The Police Force was established in 1921.
