30 personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF who joined the 13 month peacekeeping mission of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon have returned home yesterday. To celebrate the personnel's return, this morning, a doa selamat ceremony was held at the Bolkiah Garrison Gymnasium.
The contingent's return was welcomed by Captain Yusuf bin Masron, Acting Joint Commander of RBAF. Also present were, the RBAF Chief of Staff, Deputy Services Commander, Commandants, Defence Advisor of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and Deputy Director of Operations of the Royal Brunei Police Force. Brunei Darussalam joined the UNIFIL peacekeeping mission since 2008.
