In ensuring the public’s safety while crossing the road, especially for school students, congregants of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Silver Jubilee Mosque as well as pedestrians at Kampung Jangsak, a doa selamat ceremony was held for the construction of the Pedestrian Bridge.
Present was Engineer Awang Haji Amer Hishamuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Amar Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Zakaria, Permanent Secretary For Infrastructure, Housing and Professional at the Ministry Of Development. The $300,000 bridge is scheduled to be completed in August this year. The construction of the bridge is fully sponsored by Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Awang Goh King Chin with permission from the Ministry of Development. In this regard, the public especially road users are adviced to be cautious while going through the area aside from adhering to the traffic signage and speed limits set to avoid unwanted incidences.
