The Language and Literature Bureau and the Department of Community Development each received 15 computers donated by the Brunei Methanol Company Sendirian Berhad. The computer donation initiative is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility activities for Brunei Methanol Company Sendirian Berhad in an effort to produce an educated and highly skilled society, especially in the world of information technology. The donation handover ceremony took place at the Language and Literature Bureau in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Present to witness the handover was, Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The donation was presented by Kaneshige Kubushiro, Chief Executive Officer of Brunei Methanol Company Sendirian Berhad to Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of Language and Literature Bureau. Also present was Awang Abdul Mu’izz bin Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Brunei Methanol Company Sendirian Berhad.
