The Education Loan Assistance Scheme, SBPP application for the academic year 2023/2024 is now open and will be closed on Thursday, the 2nd of March 2023.
Applicants who wish to apply must also apply for at least one programme offered by local higher education institutions via Higher Education Centralised Admission System, HECAS online application. Applicants are required to submit the application form via email to sbpp@moe.gov.bn and all relevant documents including printed SBPP and HECAS form to Department of Scholarship Management, Counter 3, One Stop Centre, Block C, Ground Floor, Ministry of Education no later than the closing date. Application will only be offered once a year. Applicants who have not received their official results but wish to apply, may submit their predicted results from their respective schools or institutions. However, the result of the application will be based on their actual official results.
After the announcement of SBPP application result, unsuccessful applicants who meet the entry requirement can submit a letter of appeal to the Department of Scholarship Management for further consideration. However, applicants are only given 3 working days to submit their letter of appeal. Application form and SBPP terms and conditions can be obtained from the Ministry of Education’s website at moe.gov.bn. Applicants are advised to refer to the ‘Guidelines’ on application procedures.
