Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD organised an Employer Engagement Workshop that aims to explore ways to better prepare graduates for the job market. Workshop that brought together educators and employers was focusing on understanding employer perspectives, aligning education with industry needs, and improving curriculum based on employer feedback. The workshop was held at the Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Advancement, ILIA, UBD.
The workshop which was joined by various sector, shared insights on how education can better align with industry expectations, setting the stage for collaboration between academia and the job market. As a result of the workshop, UBD is ready to integrate the identified skill sets into its curriculum, ensuring graduates are equipped with practical abilities alongside academic knowledge. Such initiative reflects the university's commitment in solidifying its path towards achieving its vision and mission, to produce job-ready graduates and fostering collaboration with industry partners.
