Encourage to Further Develop 1K1P Products

Since the opening of the Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge, the demand for products in the One Village, One Product, 1K1P Programme has seen an obvious increase. This can be seen from the increase in the revenue generated by several products such as salted eggs, pineapple tarts and karipap or curry puffs. According to the Minister of Home Affairs, two more 1K1P products namely, services and ecotourism also show a potential to be developed in the Temburong District including the Lubuk Batu Mas Homestay at Kampung Sibut Longhouse. Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, in an interview during the Special Programme, Temburong: Green Jewel of Brunei Darussalam, encouraged village residents specifically those in the Temburong District to further develop the 1K1P products.
