The mass Fardu Maghrib and Isya Prayers, Reading of Surah Yasin and Special Doa in conjunction with Nisfu Syaaban were held to enliven the night of Nisfu Syaaban in the country. The event was held at mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide.
In Belait District, the event was held at the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque, Kuala Belait.
The Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque Pekan Tutong also held a similar ceremony.
Meanwhile, in Temburong District, the event took place at the Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque, Pekan Bangar.
The ceremony aims to seek for prolongation of life by performing acts of worship to Him and being kept away from disasters as well as given halal and beneficial sustenance.
