Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism in his adjournment speech stated the ministry’s commitment to ensure the future of the country’s development and the citizens and resident’s well-being is assured.
The ministry will continue to strive with the cooperation of all related parties through the Whole of Government and Whole of Nation approaches in carrying out strategies as well as initiatives that have and are being implemented. This is apart from identifying new strategies and initiatives to ensure production growth in the food sector specifically in agriculture and fisheries, either from the premier industry or downstream processing industry, as well as added value based on agriculture and fisheries continues to increase from year to year.
