In another development, 7 hotels will accommodate Brunei Darussalam's intending haj pilgrims while in the Holy City of Makkah. To ensure that the country's intending pilgrims will be given the best hospitality, facilities and services, a delegation of officers from the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office for Administration and Medical visited the hotels.
The delegation was led by Awang Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad, Head of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office. The 4 haj package operators for this year's haj pilgrims are Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad, Straits Central Agencies Brunei Sendirian Berhad, Raudah Al-Amin Sendirian Berhad and At-Taqwa Travel Tours Sendirian Berhad.
The intending haj pilgrims under Darussalam Holdings will stay at 3 hotels namely Le Meridian Hotel, Dar Al-Ghufran, and Dallah Ajyad. Meanwhile, Al Marwaa Rayhan Hotel and Al-Masaa will accommodate the intending pilgrims under Straits Central Agencies. Intending haj pilgrims under Raudah Al Amin will stay at Saraya Ajyad Hotel while Hyatt Regency Hotel will accommodate the intending pilgrims under At-Taqwa Travel Tours Sendirian Berhad. The visit aimed to ensure all facilities and services for the country's intending haj pilgrims are ready. All hotels for the the country's intending haj pilgrims are located not far from Masjidil Haram.
