Entrepreneurship Camp Presentation Session

Methods of finding business ideas and innovations in difficult times were among the topics of discussion on the second day of BIMP-EAGA Entrepreneurship Camp, yesterday morning. The 3-day virtual camp provided an opportunity for participants with skills and knowledge towards developing and creating entrepreneurial pathways to generate their own employment.

The first speaker, Dayang Nur Syafiqah Sa’adatul Hana binti Haji Noor Hazman, Education Officer from Politeknik Brunei presented a paper titled ‘Birth of New Ideas’, among others explained how to find business ideas. She said once the business idea is discovered, the next step is market research such as market trends, target market and market size. She also shared some tips on Business Trends such as delivery and logistic, health industry as well as online services. Meanwhile, a speaker from the Republic of the Philippines, Ariestelo Asilo, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Varraco Incorporation, Republic of the Philippines presented the topic, Innovation in a Time of Crisis: On Better Production and Storytelling Technique’.
