The good response and support of the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the local arts enthusiasts are among the reasons the Creative Arts Space Gallery is holding an exclusive exhibition at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey. Besides that, the embassy is also collaborating in efforts to increase the number of young and new arts enthusiasts by providing a platform to develop and showcase their work.
The exhibition was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports who is also the Acting Minister of Health. 17 pieces of art work by 9 artists are displayed at the exhibition including Ceramics Art produced by Martie Geiger-Ho, a foreign arts enthusiast.
Also attending the event were Mehmet Suat Akgun, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Brunei Darussalam, Datin Paduka Doktor Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil and Awang Haji Noor Jusmin bin Haji Abdul Samad, the Permanent Secretaries at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The exhibition will be open to the public starting tomorrow until the 25th of the month from 10 in the morning until 12 noon, and again from 2.30 until 4.30 in the afternoon.
