The Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE, yesterday afternoon signed Memorandum of Understanding, MOU's with 17 companies under the NTec Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery and Services programme for July 2020 session.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Awang Haji Shariful Bahri bin Haji Sawas, Deputy Commissioner of Labour. Signing on behalf of IBTE were Doctor Haji Mohd Zambri bin Haji Sabli, Acting Director of IBTE and Awang Armi Durani bin Haji Durhman, IBTE Central Campus Principal. Signing on behalf of the companies were their managers. The restaurants are Restoran Adika; Brunei Hotel; Coco Cafe; Countrypatch Cafe; Entrek Brunei Sendirian Berhad; Le Apple Bakery and Mark; Makan Ceria Sendirian Berhad; Olies Cafe; PAR Group of Companies; Radisson Hotel; Rizqun International Hotel; Royal Brunei Catering Sendirian Berhad; Serikandi Cafe and Restaurant; Sun City Bistro Sendirian Berhad - Millenium Restaurant; The Empire Brunei; The Garden Veranda and Wafa Hotel and Apartment. The event aims to facilitate training for students to meet industry standards and needs and meet the demands of skilled manpower in the hospitality and food service industry.
