Bandar seri begawan: The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) has issued BND500 compound fines following inspections that found non-compliance with workplace first-aid requirements. The offence was discovered during an inspection at a construction worksite on the Tungku Highway, Bandar Seri Begawan. According to Radio Television Brunei, SHENA also issued BND500 compound fines for the same offence at a construction worksite in Kampung Kiulap, Bandar Seri Begawan. Additionally, enforcement action was taken after an inspection at a construction worksite in Kampong Bukit Panggal, Mukim Keriam, Tutong, where a BND500 fine was issued for failing to comply with Regulation 4, Provision of First Aid Kits under the Workplace Safety and Health (First Aid) Regulations. Following the inspection, the occupier has taken corrective measures to address the non-compliance identified.
