The Festive Stage, which is being held throughout the country, further enlivens His Majesty’s 76th Birthday celebration. At the Car Park in front of the Royal Regalia Museum in the capital, the festive stage was enlivened with a stage performance.
Present were Awang Haji Mohd Abdoh bin Haji Awang Damit, Acting Director of Culture and Arts Division and Awang Haji Azman bin Haji Abdul Rahim, Acting Director of Radio Television Brunei. The event organised by ‘Lakap Lagor Entertainment’ was enlivened with a performance of 60’s Nostalgic Medley Songs by artists from ‘Lakap Lagor Entertainment’. A poetry performance was also held.
Meanwhile in Belait District, the Chinese Community also enlivened the Festive Stage with various performances conducted by Chung Hwa School. Present was Awang Mohamad Abdul Hadi bin Haji Mohd Syarifuddin, Acting Assistant Belait District Officer. The festive stage at Tudung Saji Kuala Belait continues last night with the azan and doa or call for prayer and supplication contest from the Belait District Primary schools.
A ‘Rentak Muzik dan Lagu’ Night organised by the Kampung Kiudang Consultative Council also enlivened the Festive Stage at the Open Area in front of Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong District. The festive stage continues last night with a Pentarama organised by the Information Department.
And in Temburong District, the stage performance was filled with a religious event conducted by the District’s Da’wah Unit Office. A Memorisation of Recitations during Prayer and short surah for New converts Competition in Temburong District was also held.
