Over 20 booths were provided for exhibitions and sales during the "Financial Fun Fair" held yesterday in conjunction with the National Savings Day 2017. The Fun Fair themed, "Financially Literate Generation" is organised by Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Tabung Amanah Pekerja, TAP, or Employees Trust Fund.
The fun fair was officially launched by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Home Affairs, as the Deputy Chairman of AMBD Board of Directors. Also taking part in this "Financial Fun Fair" were several financial institutions in the country, showcasing and providing various activities and interactive games aimed at improving knowledge in the concept of saving, prudent spending, budgeting and debt management. Also present was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Roselan bin Haji Mohamad Daud, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, who is also a member of the AMBD Board of Directors.
