Berakas: The Fire and Rescue Department needs to strengthen its preparedness and capabilities through the use of appropriate technology, human resource development, and strategic cooperation between agencies, in line with the Whole of Government and Whole of Nation Approaches. The Minister of Home Affairs emphasized the importance of professionalism, integrity, discipline, and teamwork during the Fire and Rescue Department's 66th Anniversary celebration, held at the Department's Headquarters on the morning of May 7.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman praised the Department's initiatives in exploring the use of artificial intelligence and empowering technology in management. These efforts include implementing fire operation simulation training to enhance the quality of service delivery.
The anniversary celebration featured a parade, finals of the Lifesaver 995 Community Challenge, and demonstrations of rescue expertise, showcasing the Department's commitment to excellence and innovation in serving the community.
