First Stage of Opening in Phase

To ensure the reopening of the Child Care Centre is in line with the conditions and guidelines agreed with the Ministry of Health, the Department of Community Development, JAPEM, has and will continue to inspect and evaluate the premises for approval to operate.

Prior to approval, the Child Care Centres are required to make preparations according to guidelines and submit a Business Continuity Plan to JAPEM. Permission will only be given to centres that are found to be ready in accordance with the existing guidelines, while centres that are found not to be ready will be given a period before a re-evaluation is carried out.

Once approved, the premises will be allowed to re-operate under the First Stage of Phase Opening starting on the 14th of Jamadilakhir 1443 corresponding to the 17th of January 2022 with the following conditions:

– First, it is only allowed to operate at 30 percent capacity at one time.

– Second, the centre is only open to children aged 2 years and above

– Third, the activities of the centre are also focused on care only where Development Activities individually or in groups are not allowed

– And fourth, it is recommended for the sessions to be divided into morning and afternoon or by day.
