Five-star resort planned for Queenstown’s Jacks Point

A new five-star luxury resort at Queenstown's exclusive Jacks Point has been given consent by the Overseas Investment Office.

The resort, which would be spread over three properties, would include a lodge, restaurant, fitness facilities, meeting rooms, 33 cabins, 14 two-bedroom units and 18 three bedroom houses.

The vendor was Jacks Point Land Holdings.

Last week Queenstown Lakes District Council gave the go-head for Hanley Downs, a more affordable subdivision on 520 hectares of resort-zoned land at Jack's Point.
