‘Flavors of America’ Culinary Programme Sparks Innovation Among Students

Temburong: Thirty students from Sultan Hassan Secondary School in Temburong participated in the ‘Flavors of America’ Culinary Programme cooking competition. The event was organized by the Embassy of the United States of America in collaboration with Bonda Restaurant and Catering Services.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the competition was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Caryn Roberta McClelland, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam, who also served as one of the jurors. The programme aimed to enhance cultural exchange, broaden knowledge, and foster entrepreneurship among the youth. Participants were challenged to demonstrate not only their technical cooking skills but also their creativity, teamwork, and innovation in creating new dishes with an international flair.
