Youths are the frontliners for the nation. If today’s youth love mosques and Al-Quran, as well as high knowledge, surely the future of the country will be safe. This was part of the forum content in conjunction with the Hijrah New Year which was held at the Kampung Belais Mosque in Temburong District.
The Forum entitled ‘Belia Harapan Menuju Kecemerlangan Ummah’. Among the panellists were Doctor Hajah Ummi Fa’izah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, Head of Co-Curriculum Unit, Knowledge and Language Promotion Centre, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA and Awang Abdul Hamid bin Aji, Education Officer, Ministry of Education. According to Awang Abdul Hamid, the role of parents and other parties are vital to shape the excellence youth.
The forum was organised by the Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs with the collaboration of Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as well as the Kampung Belais Mosque Takmir Committee. Present was Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs.
