Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah binti His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, graced the foundation-laying ceremony for the Miftah An-Nur Islamic International School. The ceremony was held at Kampung Sungai Akar, yesterday morning.
The project is scheduled to be completed by July 2023, which coincides with the start of the academic year 2023/2024. The school collaborated with a renowned architectural firm to design the facilities while maintaining the traditional Islamic designs. The world-class campus is expected to be able to accommodate over one thousand 250 students, and have new facilities including a Surau, swimming pool, library, kindergarten block, primary and secondary school, canteen, gymnasium and multi-purpose hall.
