The fourth and final group of the country's intending pilgrims is now in Madinah. The Royal Brunei flight BI4209 flight carrying 2 hundred 53 intending pilgrims left the country last night at eight past 10.
Families and relatives gathered at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to the intending pilgrims. The final flight included officers of the Haj Medical Management, the Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad and Raudah Al-Amin Sendirian Berhad. Before departing the country, the intending pilgrims performed the mass Fardhu Isya prayer. The Doa Selamat was read by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustafa bin Haji Murat.
Present at the airport to bid farewell were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, as Chairman of Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) Board of Directors; Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Md Daud, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yussof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs; and Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
