7 Universiti Brunei Darussalam students, 15 students from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University and 4 Universiti Teknologi Brunei students as well as 2 working professionals were feted at a virtual graduation ceremony after successfully completing an international certificate programme offered by Osaka University.
Among those joining was Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. The Osaka University International Programme: Halal Science, Technology and Innovation was a 10-month programme, consisting of online lectures and a 2-month placement at Osaka University. The educational programme was initiated by Osaka University ASEAN Campus in collaboration with their counterparts in ASEAN countries. The event also welcomed new students for the 2022 intake.
