Ground Breaking Ceremony

Royal Brunei Catering, RBC has reached its 44th year of operations. The company has a 90 percent local workforce, and is one of the largest food and beverage supplier in Brunei Darussalam. This was said by Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial, General Manager for RBC during the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Royal Brunei Catering Central Kitchen and Corporate Office at the Lambak Kanan West Industrial Site yesterday morning.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Awang Shuif bin Haji Abdullah, and followed by the ground breaking ceremony by Dato Seri Paduka Doctor Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy as Chairman of the RBC Board of Directors. With the construction of the central kitchen, RBC forecasts its current production capacity to double, and able to meet future growth opportunities to elevate RBC's competitiveness in domestic and international markets.

Situated on a 2 hectare plot, the facility is predicted to begin its operations mid next year with 400 employees. RBC is also committed to support the development and growth of small and medium enterprises by providing facilities for SMEs.
